On Monday, 25 June 2018, in the evening at 17:05, in Tauragės district municipality, on the Sartininkai–Draudeniai regional road (kilometre 1.94), a BMW 3er Reihe registered in Sweden rolled over. One person was injured — the 31-year-old driver of the BMW (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.31‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
