Hit-and-run, unlicensed Citroen driver runs off the road in Palkabalio village
On Friday, 6 July 2018, at night at 1:10, in Varėnos district municipality, Palkabalio village, on the Varėna–Rudnia–Paramėlis–Katra regional road (kilometre 8.70), a Citroen Xsara ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Citroen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene.
