On Tuesday, 17 July 2018, in the morning at 8:17, in Telšių district municipality, Sydeklio village, a Volkswagen Passat ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.33‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene.
