On Saturday, 21 July 2018, in the afternoon at 13:33, in Pasvalio district municipality, on the Valakėliai–Pušalotas regional road (kilometre 7.18), a MTZ Belarus-820 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the MTZ (9 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
