On Sunday, 5 August 2018, in the evening at around 22:00, in Kauno district municipality, Varluvos village, on Varluvos street, at the junction with Špokų street, a tractor rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of a tractor (15 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
