On Wednesday, 8 August 2018, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Šakių district municipality, on P. Mašioto street near No. 58, a Massey Ferguson 87 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of the Massey Ferguson (25 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
