On Friday, 10 August 2018, in the afternoon at 14:30, in Prienų district municipality, Mauručių village, on the Kaunas–Marijampolė–Suvalkai main road (kilometre 23.50), a DAF XF 95.430 registered in Poland hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the DAF (7 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
