On Saturday, 11 August 2018, in the afternoon at 13:50, in Joniškio district municipality, on the Kiti keliai local road (kilometre 1580), an Arctic CAT Cougar rolled over. One person was injured — a 29-year-old passenger of the Arctic CAT (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Arctic CAT (5 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was wet.
