On Sunday, 19 August 2018, in the evening at 21:30, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on Taikos street near No. 8, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6 Avant and a Subaru Forester. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 50-year-old driver of the Audi (20 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.77‰ blood alcohol).
