On Saturday, 8 September 2018, in the afternoon at 13:15, in Švenčionių district municipality, Prūdiškės village, on the Juodšiliai–Prūdiškės regional road (kilometre 2.50), an Opel Astra-G-CC rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 58-year-old driver of the Opel (18 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.39‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
