On Sunday, 23 September 2018, in the evening at around 19:00, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on Gedimino street near No. 92, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra and a Seat Toledo. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 66-year-old driver of the Opel (10 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
