On Tuesday, 9 October 2018, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Prienų district municipality, on Vytauto street near No. 30, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat, a BMW 520 and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 64-year-old driver of the Volkswagen Passat (19 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. All drivers were sober.
