Hit-and-run, unlicensed driver and Volvo crash at Ozo and Gelvonų streets, Vilnius
On Saturday, 13 October 2018, in the evening at around 20:00, in Vilnius, on Ozo street, at the junction with Gelvonų street, a collision occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4 and a Volvo C70. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to keep a safe distance. She had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
