On Tuesday, 16 October 2018, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Šiauliai, on Statybininkų street near No. 13, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Opel Meriva - A and a Nissan Qashqai. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 55-year-old driver of the Opel (23 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
