Hit-and-run Audi driver runs off the road on the Paširvintys–Alionys I road
On Sunday, 21 October 2018, at night at around 1:00, in Širvintų district municipality, on the Paširvintys–Alionys I regional road (kilometre 1.68), an Audi 100 Avant ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
