On Monday, 22 October 2018, in the evening at around 19:00, in Kaunas, on Sukilėlių pr., at the junction with Žeimenos street, a Toyota Prius hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 22-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 51-year-old driver of the Toyota (30 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
