On Tuesday, 23 October 2018, at night at around 4:00, in Kauno district municipality, Vaistariškių village, on Paupio street near No. 14, a Honda Accord ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Honda (3 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
