On Friday, 28 December 2018, in the evening at around 17:00, in Plungės district municipality, on V. Mačernio street near No. 1, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Citroen Xsara Picasso and a Hyundai Matrix. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 69-year-old driver of the Citroen (40 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
