On Saturday, 12 January 2019, in the evening at around 22:00, in Vilkaviškio district municipality, Paežerių village, on Dvaro street near No. 21, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Vento and a BMW. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (5 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
