On Sunday, 13 January 2019, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Varėnos district municipality, Pamerkių village, on Merkio street near No. 25, a vehicle hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene.
