On Monday, 28 January 2019, in the afternoon at 13:31, in Trakų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Varėna–Gardinas main road (kilometre 23.60), a BMW 3ER Reihe ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the BMW (12 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
