On Wednesday, 30 January 2019, in the evening at 19:11, in Pasvalio district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Pasvalys–Ryga main road (kilometre 28.30), a Volvo FH12 registered in Poland rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Volvo (10 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, there was fog, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
