On Saturday, 9 February 2019, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Kaunas, on Islandijos pl. near No. 32, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf and a BMW. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (10 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
