On Thursday, 21 February 2019, in the afternoon at 13:25, in Klaipėda, on Liepų street near No. 64B, a BMW 7ER Reihe hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. Three people were injured — a 28-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized), a 23-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized) and a 36-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the BMW (8 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
