Volkswagen and two other vehicles crash on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda road
On Saturday, 23 February 2019, at night at 1:07, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 78.40), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Phaeton, a Volvo FH 440 and a Toyota Avensis Verso. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (15 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. All drivers were sober.
