On Saturday, 23 February 2019, at night at around 2:00, in Pasvalio district municipality, Girsūdų village, on Pasvalio street near No. 26, a vehicle hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. A 18-year-old pedestrian was drunk (1.81‰).
