On Wednesday, 27 February 2019, in the morning at around 9:00, in Vilnius, on Gelvonų street near No. 25, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 316 and an Opel Astra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
