On Saturday, 2 March 2019, in the afternoon at 12:40, in Tauragės district municipality, Joniškės village, on Tvenkinio street near No. 1, a Ford Mondeo ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Ford, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober.
