On Saturday, 20 April 2019, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Šalčininkų district municipality, on the Šalčininkai–Butrimonys–Eišiškės national road (kilometre 3.27), a hitting an obstacle on the carriageway occurred. The accident involved a Seat Alhambra and an Audi A6 Avant. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Seat. She had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
