On Monday, 6 May 2019, in the afternoon at 16:45, in Trakų district municipality, Kariotiškių village, on Naujoji street near No. 8, a Mitsubishi Colt ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
