On Sunday, 12 May 2019, in the evening at 21:31, in Telšių district municipality, on Luokės street near No. 76, a BMW 530 D ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.39‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
