BMW and Ford crash at Serbentų and Dubijos streets, Šiauliai
On Tuesday, 14 May 2019, in the morning at around 10:00, in Šiauliai, on Serbentų street, at the junction with Dubijos street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a BMW 525 and a Ford Focus. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry.
