On Wednesday, 15 May 2019, in the morning at 9:48, in Šilutės district municipality, Vyžių village, on Pagėgių street, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Iveco AS440S42 and a MAN. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Iveco (20 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
