On Friday, 17 May 2019, in the afternoon at 14:40, in Kaunas, on Kovo 11-osios street near No. 5, a Volkswagen Passat hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 53-year-old pedestrian, who committed sudden emergence from behind a vehicle, tree, etc.. The driver was sober.
