On Friday, 17 May 2019, in the evening at 19:06, in Vilnius, on Vakarinis aplinkelis street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 320I and a Volkswagen Sharan. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.52‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
