On Sunday, 19 May 2019, in the afternoon at 14:13, in Jonavos district municipality, Išorų village, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta k. pusė) main road (kilometre 18.03), a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Skoda Fabia and a Skoda Fabia. Two people were injured — a 14-year-old passenger of the Skoda Fabia (treated as an outpatient) and the 75-year-old driver of the Skoda Fabia (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Skoda Fabia (10 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober.
