On Saturday, 8 June 2019, in the evening at 19:47, in Plungės district municipality, Paežerės village, on the Šiauliai–Palanga main road (kilometre 81.74), a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Rover 200 and an Audi A4. One person died — the 49-year-old driver of the Rover (was not wearing a seatbelt).
