On Friday, 14 June 2019, in the evening at 20:46, in Vilniaus district municipality, Skirlėnų village, on the Sapiegiškės–Sužionys–Dirmeitai regional road (kilometre 4.20), a Volkswagen Golf ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 53-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
