On Friday, 9 August 2019, at night at 0:34, in Akmenės district municipality, on the Ramučiai–Vėlaičiai–Vegeriai regional road (kilometre 2.98), a Lipecko TG (LTZ) T-40AM ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Lipecko TG (LTZ), who fell asleep at the wheel. He was drunk (2.33‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
