On Thursday, 5 September 2019, in the morning at 8:45, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 129.29), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Scania, a Volvo S40 and a Sommer AP240. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the Scania (25 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
