On Saturday, 7 September 2019, in the evening at 19:20, in Šalčininkų district municipality, Tabariškių village, on Bažnyčios street near No. 3, a Volkswagen Passat hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.60‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
