On Saturday, 28 September 2019, in the afternoon at 11:44, in Širvintų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Panevėžys (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 52.48), a BMW ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the BMW (20 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
