On Monday, 7 October 2019, in the afternoon at 14:30, in Kaunas, on A. Juozapavičiaus pr., at the junction with Tilto street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Renault Espace and a BMW. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Renault, who failed to give way when changing direction. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
