On Monday, 7 October 2019, at night at 23:04, in Kupiškio district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Pavašuokiai–Subačius regional road (kilometre 20), a Nissan Almera rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Nissan (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.71‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
