On Friday, 11 October 2019, at night at around 0:00, in Šilutės district municipality, Kukorų village, on Mažosios Lietuvos street, a Rover 416 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Rover, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
