On Tuesday, 12 November 2019, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Šiauliai, on Vytauto street near No. 101, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf Plus and a Toyota Previa. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 80-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (47 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
