On Thursday, 14 November 2019, in the evening at 17:13, in Molėtų district municipality, Joniškio town, on Arino street near No. 22, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi 80 and a Skoda Octavia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Audi, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.36‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
