On Saturday, 30 November 2019, in the morning at 7:14, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 61), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volvo S40, a DAF FT XF105.460, a Toyota Avensis, a Volvo FH, a Volkswagen Golf, a Toyota Avensis and a Setra. Two people were injured — the 33-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (treated as an outpatient) and a 27-year-old passenger of the Volvo S40 (severely injured, treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Volvo S40 (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. All drivers were sober.
