On Saturday, 30 November 2019, in the evening at 22:30, in Prienų district municipality, Alšininkų village, on the Šventininkai–Kalviai–Stakliškės regional road (kilometre 10.41), a Mitsubishi Pajero ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (12 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
