On Saturday, 30 November 2019, in the afternoon at 11:25, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 302), a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved a BMW 3er Reihe and a DAF. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 63-year-old driver of the DAF (30 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
